Thursday May 9th, 2019 Fairpark Plaza officially opened to the public

There is a motto at Century Construction, “Building Partnerships. Building The Future.” and that’s exactly the mindset behind the development of Fairpark Plaza. Since the very early stages of this project, Century CEO, Colin Maloney, had a vision of partnership with the City of Tupelo to make this dream a reality. Once the first two tenants, Ross & Yerger and BankPlus were confirmed, Fairpark Plaza took off and the rest is history.

Adding to the tenant roster, Fairpark Plaza welcomed the first restaurant to the mix with Oxford based Southern Craft Stove + Tap; announcing just weeks before the grand opening.

The ceremony was filled with family, friends, and Tupelo professionals all with a passion for the growth of this city.

“So many people didn’t believe, but there were enough of you that did believe.”

Members of the Community Development Foundation, Century Construction, Ross & Yerger Insurance, BankPlus and local dignitaries all spoke before the ribbon was cut. Once the ceremony was finished, Fairpark Plaza opened its doors for a nightlong celebration.

Being the newest and only “Class A” full-service office building in Tupelo, Fairpark Plaza is a driving economic force in this community. As announced during the ceremony, there will be two buildings , each having 4 stories consisting of a total of 40,000 square feet. More details on the second building are hoped to be announced in June.

“We have the first floor pretty much spoken for, but we’re going to have to get to 50 percent (occupancy) before we can pull the trigger to build it. “

There is still space available in the current building. Duke Loden, Century Commercial Real Estate Broker, is the listing agent on the space.

#BuildingTheFuture

The Building The Future campaign was created as a “golden standard” within Century. What does it mean to be Building The Future? It means contributing to something bigger than ourselves. It’s a sense of accountability, not just to Century, but to the people that live, work and coexist in the spaces we proudly bring to life. In order to build for the future, we must build with the mindset that we are construction to stand the test of time. To us, that’s a lot of responsibility. We created the Building the Future slogan as a promise to our current and future clients that when you choose to work with Century, you are choosing a partnership that goes beyond the beginning and end of a project. We are committed to quality, excellence and the future.
